Krispy Kreme Australia (KKA) is a leading brand within the food and beverage retailing industry. Australia was Krispy Kreme’s first expansion outside of North America, for the company which commenced in North Carolina in 1937.

KKA offers a range of premium quality doughnuts and beverages. The distribution approach adopted is through a comprehensive network of fresh shops, kiosks and carts supported by factory stores. KKA employs more than 850 staff across Australia.

The first store in Australia was opened in New South Wales in August 2003. KKA has successfully expanded to Victoria and most recently Queensland. There are now more than 50 stores operating Australia wide. The Australian operations are wholly Australian owned.

KKA is continuing to grow with more stores due to open across South East Queensland and the opportunity for further areas of expansion. The variety of products has increased with new flavours of doughnuts as well as the introduction of Ice Kreme.
